Part-Time Youth Minister –

St. Paul UMC, Ft. Smith St. Paul UMC in Ft. Smith is seeking, for the position of part-time Youth Minister (20-25 hours/week), a called and dedicated individual with a passion and desire to share and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ with the youth of this congregation (currently 10-15 youth) and our community. Beneficial qualifications include general knowledge of the UMC, 2+ years membership in the UMC, College degree and/or previous experience in area of youth ministry, basic computer skills, experience with multi-media technology, and a willingness to work in a team-ministry environment. Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating youth Sunday school and United Methodist Youth Fellowship, organizing and leading a youth mission trip, creating other opportunities for outreach, spiritual growth, and fellowship, recruiting and working with adult volunteers who serve as a “Youth Leadership Team,” and participating as a staff member in worship, mission, and other church activities.
